  17. Well, I have Jaz drive here now. It is actually a Micronet drive, but it is
  18. the same as Jaz drive in all but the casing which is a standard external case.
  19. I like the Iomega cases better though.

  21. Well, I tested with the squirrel only and that was on a stock Amiga 1200
  22. (Squirrel doesn't work yet on A1260, Hisoft, you here me???) so I won't talk
  23. about speed tests here - I barely could use it on 2Mb :-(

  25. Well, the drive spins up and down a lot slower than the ZIP drive I previously
  26. had. But the storage capacity is 1020 Mb :-))) There seems to be a bug in HD
  27. Toolbox because when I start it the drive needs 15 minutes to go through the
  28. checking scsi devices phase. With RD Prep, it is a matter of secons. I can
  29. prepare it as a normal hard disk, but the number of heards is 1 again, like it
  30. was with ZIP. I am using a 8 heads config now, so I have less cylinders
  31. (formats faster). If anybody has any mountlist for this beast, could you send
  32. it to me please. Well, the speed on a stock amiga 1200 is really good, well
  33. not the speed, but the seek time in seek speed is cool - from 7-9 ms comparing
  34. with my IDE HD (25-42 ms) it looks nice.

  36. I love the thing, but I need proper scsi controler for it. I heard cyberstorm
  37. is delayed until May, so I don't need to tell you that story...
